I absolutely am loving this series so far. There is only one thing I really didn't care for though. the books comes as pretty much one large book (file), not 3 separate books. It does not inform you of this in the description.
I’ve never read a story with such a rich history, or such a complicated structure. That may be more a lack of culture on my part but I think that this series may be special in that regard. It may not be for all readers but it is worthwhile, even people who don’t read a ton but love the fantasy genre should be able to get into this series though it may take another 15-20 Years for all ten books to be published. Should be quite the story and it has quite the following.
It takes a few chapters to get into, and fortunately my family has read it so they can answer my questions. But honestly I'm enjoying it very much so far.
Good story but tends to drag on through some chapters that really don’t add anything. If you can power through them the author does a really good job of action and plot twists! Only issue I have is the one female main character I cannot stand. I literally started skipping her chapters as they were by far the most boring.
Having read the mistborne trilogy i was hoping this series would be tighter. It feels very disjointed and once the stage is set in the first book, the action never really picks up again. There's not a much of a solid complete ending as I was hoping for, but an enjoyable read nonetheless.
Riveting story and character development. I’m really enjoying my time with the books. I find the interludes break pacing, but overall the world building is adds, not detracts, to the immersion.
Step into the world that Brandon Sanderson has created and you are part of the lives of these characters who become your friends. Their world transports you and carries you away. A must read for all fantasy lovers!
Stormlight Archive is basically just spectacular. I'm on my third read through and still catching little nuances that I had previously missed. Sanderson is a master at what he does.
