About the Author
Ellen Goldberg, primary author, is a psychotherapist and an internationally renowned teacher of Tarot and Palmistry. She is the founder and director of the School of Oracles and has been on the faculty of the New York Open Center since 1986. This book is based on her 40 years of teaching Palmistry and the Western Mystery tradition. Dorian Bergen, assistant author, is the co-owner of ACA Galleries in New York City. A student and practitioner of palmistry for more than 25 years, Dorian is a long time student of metaphysics and has a special interest in documenting how children’s hands change over time. Both authors live in New York City.

How could anyone ever understand the subtleties of the hand when you have no examples to look at? Well, The Art and Science of Hand Reading changes all that. Every single example has an associated photograph or drawing where appropriate. In addition to the clear photos, sensible explanations are provided for each and every characteristic described. The subject matter is covered thoroughly as well. After purchasing over a dozen manuscripts and books on palm reading I have to say if you had buy just one book on palm reading, this should be the book.
This book is so brilliant in explaining palmistry to all levels of readers. To me, a neophyte, it simplifies and demystifies the reading of palms and has helped me more than any book in this category. Beautifully illustrated and prose that jumps off the page into your heart and brain, I'm just excited to learn more. Bravo to the writer and artist Ellen Goldberg. Well done!

An Amazing book...well worth the wait and the money. I have a hard copy and a kindle version so I can reference it everywhere I go. I was lucky enough to have Ellen as my teacher for over 4 years. She is so kind and nurturing and is wise beyond her years! Such a treasure trove of information and spiritual advice. Do yourself a favor and get this book if you really are serious about learning Palmistry. If you live in the NYC area, get a reading with her if you can or better yet, take one of her intensive classes. You won't be sorry!!
I’ve read a lot of books about palm reading. This one is by far the most comprehensive and easy to understand. It makes for a really great reference book for ones who already practice the art of reading palms. The explanations of history and origin in this book help to understand the true meaning behind the information you’re absorbing and is a perfect gateway to understanding other metaphysical sciences and mythology.
