It is clearly intended for real programmers, not folks like me who code when they have to or feel like learning a little more. Thus, I didn’t get much out of this book. It is dense. It is comprehensive. And if you aren’t intimately familiar with both Ruby and rails, it is very difficult to understand. But a pro coder would benefit from its thorough treatment of code testing and for that reason I recommend it to anyone developing in Ruby and Rails.Jerry

On the other hand, veteran and advanced users or those just getting started and wanting a book that can grow with their own skill level will find this invaluable. The prescriptions are just that - testing prescriptions. Detailed instructions, this is a fairly huge book packed full of step by step examples able to be customized or used straight out.
