Of course, most major collections of hadith are available on-line for free (as are all of the books published by Forgotten Books). If you want a hard copy of the book, this is the cheapest you are going to find. The translation of Buhkari it contains seems identical to the one found on the USC website [...] and so should be reliable. My complaint about this edition is that it does not provide subject headings. This single volume provides volume headings (i.e. vol. 1, vol. 2) corresponding to the standard edition. These may be useful in tracking down a reference to an individual hadith but provides no guidance in finding hadith on a particular topic. Well printed volume. Helps to understand a psychotic/homicidal "prophet."
700 and one pages. It showed that the Koran and the Hadith have many views. The Hadith is so repetitive. Every aspect of Mohammad's life is dissected. Then anyone who was their, at that particular time, has to state that the statement is true and they saw this or that when the event took place. No level of intimacy of Mohammad's life is left out.

This book is good an cheap but Bukhari contaions more volumes that are missing in this bok. If I knew that volume 5 -9 was missing I would put the money on another book. Anybody know a cheap book with volumes 5-9 in english?
