The book, which is the basic material for this study is fabulous. The video material that forms the core of this small group study is also quite good, with professional production values and a good pace. The study guide would be good if used with seekers. Our group of mature believers was drawn to this study to be better equipped to answer the questions we all encounter from friends and family who are still undecided about Jesus. The study guide would have been more helpful if it included some alternate questions for discussion that were more geared to existing believers.

LOVE this study guide bible study book. There are definitely a LOT of discussion questions with extra optional discussion questions, so if you want a shorter study to follow the DVD segment, you might want to cut some off and go over the ones you feel most important for time's sake. Leading our study at church, and it brings up some thought provoking discussions, both for Christians and non Christians alike.

A lot of provocative questions are included. My Sunday school class found, however, that many of the questions had obvious answers to them because they are all firm believers in Jesus Christ. The book might be better used with people unsure of their faith or even skeptics. As a teacher, I asked my class to see the book as training when meeting someone on the street with no faith.

It’s a great study book but you need to read closely that it is a study book you have to have read the first book to really get into itThis is a study book you need to read the book 1st. I feel like they should have told us that before we purchase it

When you search for the actual book this is one of the top results. It’s so difficult to see “study guide” on the top of the book to tell the difference between this and the actual book. Definitely needs better distinction that this is not the actual book.

I've never read the bible. But this book has made me put that on my list. I don't read much. But I am really enjoying this and it is inspiring me to be a better Christian. Great book.
